French As A Second Language?

So, I'm on the phone with a guy speaking French, and as I've boasted on all my recent resumes...I'm fluently bilingual...making it through many interview sessions. So we're talking and I notice a spider on my wall... and I say to him "Il faut que je decroche, Je dois tuer un écureuil!" For those of you who speak French, araignée is spider, and écureuil is squirrel...needless to say I'm not as bilingual as i thought!
